Kentucky Briefing: Will Antonio Reeves be the Wildcat's leading scorer?
Antonio Reeves was right behind Oscar Tshiebwe last season in scoring as the Wildcat's big man led the team averaging 16.5 ppg, but Reeves was right on his tail at 14.4 ppg.
The question is whether or not Reeves will lead the team in scoring his second season in Lexington.
Reeves scored twenty or more points in ten games last season, proving he can fill up a stat sheet.
In my mind, the only two players that will give Reeves a run for his money to lead the team in scoring would be DJ Wagner and Justin Edwards.
These two talented five-star freshmen can score and will both be first-round picks in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Regardless of who leads the team in scoring, this Kentucky basketball team will have an unstoppable offense this season.
I am completely sold on Reeves having a massive season, and think he is one of the biggest sleepers to win the National Player of the Year award.
