Kentucky basketball has five players selected in a recent ESPN NBA Mock Draft
It's no secret this Kentucky basketball team has a lot of talent on the 2023-24 roster, but every time a new NBA mock draft comes out, it puts into perspective just how good this team could be for Coach Cal.
ESPN recently put out a 2024 NBA Mock Draft, and it had five Kentucky players being selected, with three of them going in the first round.
Let's take a look at this mock draft to see which Cats were selected and where they went.
First Round
5th overall to the San Antonio Spurs- Justin Edwards
10th overall to the Houston Rockets- DJ Wagner
30th overall to the Denver Nuggets- Ugonna Onyenso
Second Round
35th overall to the San Antonio Spurs- Aaron Bradshaw
42nd overall to the Denver Nuggets- Rob Dillingham
It's good to see Dillingham getting some respect, as he hasn't been in many mock drafts, but Bradshaw is a lot lower than he has been in other mocks.
Kentucky had five or more players selected in the draft in 2010, 2012, and 2015 and has a real shot for this to happen once again.
The Kentucky Wildcats will be one of the most talented teams in college basketball this season.
