Notre Dame Commits Continue Their Dominance In Week Four /

Over the weekend, Notre Dame defeated Central Michigan 41-17 to move to 4-0. The future of the Irish program was also on great display, showcasing a ton of prime individual performances. 

This is a recap of every Notre Dame commit in action over the last few days. It’s hard not to be excited as an Irish fan right now. 

QB CJ CARR, SALINE (Mich.) HIGH SCHOOL

RESULT: Saline 48, Bedford 0

Carr continued his hot streak on Friday defeating Bedford 48-0 in dominant fashion. In the victory, he completed 16-25 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns. The Michigan signal caller all added two more scores on the ground and had zero turnovers. 

RB KEDREN YOUNG, LUFKIN (Texas) HIGH SCHOOL

RESULT: Longview 42, Lufkin 0

Lufkin suffered his first loss of the season after Longview, falling 42-0. Young has gotten off to a great start to the season but was held out of the end zone in this loss. Young finished with 64 yards in the loss. The team will host Forney (4-0) next Friday. 

RB ANEYAS WILLIAMS, HANNIBAL (Mo.) HIGH SCHOOL

RESULT: Hannibal 77, Fulton 6

Williams did not receive a carry during Hannibal’s 77-6 victory over Fulton. The team was leading 63-0 at half time. The dynamic runner did return a punt 75 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. 

WR CAM WILLIAMS, GLEN ELLYN (Ill.) GLENBARD SOUTH

RESULT: Glenbard South 57, Streamwood 6

Williams had another big day on Friday during the team’s 57-6 victory over Streamwood. The Senior pass catcher hauled in eight receptions for 118 yards and three touchdowns. On Friday, they look to continue their winning streak against Bartlett (2-2). 

WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA

RESULT: Palma 42, Alisal 15

Saldate hauled in a 76-yard touchdown reception during the team’s 42-15 victory. On the day, the talented pass catcher hauled in two receptions for 87 yards and that touchdown. 

TE JACK LARSEN, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CATHOLIC

RESULT: Charlotte Catholic 29, Providence 22

Larsen put together a tremendous performance during the team’s 29-22 win over Providence on Friday. He hauled in six receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown. During  Charlotte Catholic’s final drive to win the game, Larsen hauled in three receptions for 49 yards including the game winning score. 

OT STYLES PRESCOD, FISHERS (Ind.) HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN

RESULT: Westfield 30, Hamilton Southeastern 28

Despite running 11 less plays than Westfield, Hamilton Southeastern outgained them on the day and had more first downs (19 to 18). Prescod and his crew fell 30 to 28 but the talented offensive tackle continued his standout senior season. 

OL PETER JONES, MALVERN (Pa.) PREP

RESULT: Imhotep Charter 24, Malvern Prep 14

Malvern Prep fell in decisive fashion against Imhotep Charter 24-14 on Friday. Jones and his talented squad hope to get back to their winning ways against Rock Creek Christian (1-2) on Friday. 

DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD

RESULT: Washington 15, St. Edward 13

It was a tough hard fought loss on Friday night for St. Edward. They fell to Washington 15-13. Thomas was largely neutralized by a talented Washington squad who stayed mostly on the ground. Next Saturday they will look to avenge their loss against River Rouge (1-3) at home. 

DT DAVION DIXON (2025), MIAMI (Fla.) PALMETTO

RESULT: Columbus 15, Miami Palmetto 0

Columbus got off to a fast start, scoring 15 points in the first half. It was a defensive game from there, seeing no scoring in the second half. On Friday, they will take on fellow Irish commit Sean Sevillano and Clearwater Academy International (0-3). 

LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO

RESULT: Kahuku 30St. John Bosco 23

The St. John Bosco win streak was snapped on Saturday, falling to Kahuku 30-23. The Braves had cut the lead in the fourth quarter to 23-22 before the home team put the nail in the coffin late in the fourth quarter. St. John Bosco will have a bye week before traveling to Santa Margarita (4-1) in two weeks. 

LB BODIE KAHOUN, ROANOKE (Va.) PATRICK HENRY

RESULT: Patrick Henry 27, Fleming 19

Kahoun is having a tremendous senior season so far. That fantastic play continued against Fleming during the team’s 27-19 victory over Fleming on Friday. The Virginia defender collected 16 total tackles (11 solo, 5 assists), three tackles for loss, a sack and returned a block punt for a touchdown. 

LB TEDDY REZAC, OMAHA (Neb.) WESTSIDE

RESULT: Westside 49, Millard North 7

Rezac did not play during his team’s 49-7 victory over Millard North. Westside (4-0) will travel to Norfolk (3-1) on Friday. 

CB KARSON HOBBS, CINCINNATI (Ohio) ARCHBISHOP MOELLER

RESULT: Archbishop Moeller 20, St. Xavier 10

Archbishop Moeller put together a tremendous performance on Friday, defeating St. Xavier 20-10. Hobbs put together a dominant individual effort. The talented cornerback hauled in an interception during the game, as well as a strip sack that was returned for a touchdown. 

CB LEONARD MOORE, ROUND ROCK (Texas) HS

RESULT: Round Rock 24, Westwood 21

Round Rock defeated Westwood 24-21 on Thursday night. On offense, Moore hauled in three receptions for 24 yards. He also returned his lone kickoff for 29 yards. 

S TAEBRON BENNIE-POWELL, WEST CHESTER (Ohio) LAKOTA WEST

RESULT: Lakota West 38, Colerain 7

Lakota West continued their winning ways on Friday, defeating Colerain 38-7. That was their third straight victory, pushing their record 3-2 overall on the season. Bennie-Powell has put together a really nice start to the season, making a ton of plays on the backend. 

S KENNEDY URLACHER, CHANDLER (Ariz.) HIGH SCHOOL 

RESULT: Chandler 42, Corona del Sol 0

Urlacher recorded just one tackle against Corona del Sol during their 42-0 victory and also pulled in an interception. His services weren’t needed in this decision win, only playing in one half of football. Chandler (4-0) will take on Highland (3-1) at home on Friday. 

S BRAUNTAE JOHNSON, FORT WAYNE (Ind.) NORTH SIDE

RESULT: North Side 38, Fort Wayne Northrop 6

North Side dominated Northrop on Friday 38-6. At quarterback, Johnson completed 13 of 17 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson also rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, that’s an average of nine yards per carry.
