Ohio State Boasts 3 Top-15 2024 Recruits

It'll be tough to rival the Ohio State Buckeyes' 2021 class, but their class of 2024 is already one of the country's best and looks to improve in the coming months.

The Elite 11 Finals and Overtime OT7 Finals are over and On3 unveiled their updated player and, in turn, team rankings.

The Ohio State Buckeyes hold 18 commitments in the class of 2024, landing them second behind the Georgia Bulldogs in the latest On3 team rankings — where they've sat for the majority of the recruiting cycle.

Ohio State is one of three programs, along with Georgia and the Alabama Crimson Tide, to have three five-star commitments in wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham and defensive lineman Justin Scott, who rank Nos. 1, 12 and 5, respectively, in On3's player rankings. The Buckeyes are the only school to have three commitments from top-15 players.

Ohio State also holds commitments No. 4 quarterback Air Noland, the No. 5 cornerback in Bryce West, the Nos. 7 and 13 running backs in James Peoples and Jordan Lyle, respectively, and the No. 8 interior offensive lineman in Ian Moore.

And the Buckeyes still have a route to dethrone Georgia for the top class in 2024.

Ohio State is in contention for No. 8 player and top safety KJ Bolden, while leading the recruitments of No. 10 player and No. 2 edge rusher Dylan Stewart, No. 4 defensive lineman Eddrick Houston, No. 2 offensive tackle Jordan Seaton and No. 4 cornerback Aaron Scott, according to On3's Industry Comparison.
