PITTSBURGH -- With Nate Santos opting to enter the transfer portal, the Pitt Panthers now have a more pressing need to fill their wing spots with depth and experience, so they've turned back to the transfer portal to fill that need.

One of the players Pitt hopes can fill that role for them is former Southern Illinois Saluki Marcus Domask, a 6'6 senior from Waupun, Wisconsin. The Panthers contacted Domask this week, according to a report from George Michaelowski of The Portal Report.

Domask averaged 15.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while making 36% of his 3-point shots and 45% of his 2-point attempts over 106 games across four years as a Saluki. He led the team in scoring, rebounding and assisting - one of just three players in program history to do so - last year and set career highs in points and rebounds on the way to second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors.

He scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists in a loss to Oklahoma State last November, his lone action against a Power 5 opponent last season.
