PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers currently have just one player - four-star guard Brandin Cummings - committed to join them in their 2024 recruiting class, but the coaching staff is hoping to change that.

Pitt has added another 2024 player to their recruiting class in three-star guard Nate Guerengoma, who hails from Branson, Missouri and attends the South Kent School in Connecticut, where he was teammates with current Panther freshman Papa Kante. Pitt, Northwestern, Penn State, Iowa, Maryland, Providence, Penn and St. Joeseph's and others have all contacted Guerngoma recently, according to a report from Jake Leiberman of JAL Hoops.

The Terrapins and Hawkeyes have extended offers alongside Rutgers, Missouri, Virginia Tech, Seton Hall, Iona, New Mexico, Rhode Island and Bryant.

He's ranked as high as the No. 2 player in Connecticut (On3), No. 32 player at his position and No. 137 overall prospect in the class of 2024 (Rivals).
