CINCINNATI — Jonathan India has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason.

Former Reds general manager and current front office insider Jim Bowden mentioned the Red Sox as a potential landing spot.

"There is no doubt that second base is a priority for the Red Sox as they have already engaged in trade talks with the Reds about Jonathan India and with the Yankees regarding Gleyber Torres," Bowden wrote in his latest article for The Athletic

Reds general manager Nick Krall insists the team isn't desperate to move India. That may be true, but there are plenty of teams out there that are hoping to acquire the former National League Rookie of the Year this offseason.

As long as the Reds get fair value, then there's no reason why a deal shouldn't get done. They have an asset and there appears to be plenty of potential suitors.
