The New Orleans Pelicans (3-1, 9th) failed to qualify for the 2023 NBA 2K24 Summer League Tournament, but they will participate in a consolation game against the Philadelphia 76ers (1-3, 23rd).
Coach Casey Hill will lead the Pelicans to face the Sixers for a 2:30 PM CT tip-off at COX Pavilion on Sunday, July 16. New Orleans finished with a +9-point differential in the pool play, while fourth-place Brooklyn (3-1) completed player with a +30-point differential.
Sunday's contest will be televised nationally on NBA TV.
PELICANS' TOP SUMMER LEAGUE PERFORMERS
- Dereon Seabron made the most of his outings, leading the team with 16.8 PPG, 10 APG, and 7.0 RPG.
- Dyson Daniels was impressive at the point guard position averaging 29.9 minutes, 15.3 points, 6.0 assists, and 2.3 steals. He routinely attacked the rim and played excellent defense while serving as the team's floor general throughout the Summer League action.
- Rookie Jordan Hawkins averaged 27.7 minutes, 12 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals for New Orleans.
