Bengals Select Rome Odunze in Dane Brugler's Opening 2024 Mock Draft

The Huskies have posted massive numbers this year and he's been a big part of that success.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals selected Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze in Dane Brugler's first mock draft on The Athletic. Cincinnati selected him with the 15th pick in the exercise as they face the possibility of Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins leaving in free agency.

Bengals fans will be understandably dejected if Tee Higgins departs this offseason, but drafting Odunze as a replacement might be the best-case scenario among the realistic options," Brugler wrote. "At 6-3, 217 with 4.4 speed, the Washington pass catcher can create his own spacing mid-route and is also one of the best contested-catch receivers in college football."

Odunze has had a monster season at Washington (73 catches for 1,326 yards and 13 TDs). He could be the next great weapon for Joe Burrow.
