More Details About Joe Burrow’s Upcoming Wrist Surgery Revealed
CINCINNATI — Jake Browning will make his first NFL start on Sunday in the Bengals’ home matchup against the Steelers.
Joe Burrow suffered a torn wrist ligament In Cincinnati’s Week 11 loss to Baltimore. The star quarterback will have season-ending surgery on Monday according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
“He is slated for season-ending wrist surgery. That is going to be tomorrow,” Rapoport said. “Should make a full recovery for the 2024 season, but there is no chance that he’ll be back this season.”
The good news is Burrow is expected to make a full recovery and be 100% for next season. Will Browning impress with the Bengals’ star out for the year? We’ll start to get the answer to that question on Sunday afternoon.
