Bettors Flocking to Bengals Side as Betting Line Against Ravens Tightens

Cincinnati could really use an AFC North win this week.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals face a massive AFC North battle on Thursday night and are 3.5-point underdogs to the Ravens as the week gets rolling.

The line opened at five points before bettors flocked to the Bengals and pushed the line down with 80% of wagers currently on Cincinnati.

The Bengals fell to 4-4-1 against the spread this season in the 30-27 loss to Houston. Baltimore is 5-4 ATS but has dropped two of its past three games against the number.

Cincinnati isn't eliminated from playoff contention with a loss this week, but things get extremely difficult if they can't pull the upset. There aren't many tiebreakers in Cincinnati's favor right now because of a 1-4 AFC record and 11 AFC teams currently have five wins or more.

The Texans will get a playoff spot over them now with the same final record. A 3-0 finish in the AFC North isn't essential, but it would go a long way toward punching Cincinnati's playoff ticket.
