Joe Burrow on Bengals Offensive Statement: 'This Is The Standard'

Cincinnati beat the 49ers 31-17 on Sunday.

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow dove into his statement performance against a top-10 49ers defense on Sunday.

Burrow hit 19 passes in a row at one point to complement three passing touchdowns and a near career-high 43 yards on the ground (career-high is 47).

"This is the standard," Burrow said on Sunday. "And like I said, it wasn't perfect. There's still things we want to get better at and we're going to. We just got to keep stacking days together. Today was a great day. And then Wednesday has got to be a great practice, Thursday, and so on."

Burrow was lights out and playing fiery football on the road in a crucial victory that helped the team keep pace in the division race. He got to flow freely on a pass-heavy attack thanks to efficient bursts in the run game (27 team carries for 134 yards and one score).

"That was a big part of the game today," Burrow said. "We were super efficient. In the run game. I think we ended up with over 100 yards rushing. So that's gonna be a big part of what we do going forward. That was a complete game on offense. We got to stack one of those together now."
