Ja'Marr Chase Open to Reunion With Justin Jefferson in Cincinnati
CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is open to teaming up with his old LSU running mate in Cincinnati. Chase discussed a desire to play with Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson this week.
The two are top-five wide receivers in the game and formed one of the most potent wide receiver duos in college football history.
"I'm with it," Chase said to Devin McCourty. "I ain't no selfish player. I might have to take a (pay)cut. He might gotta take a cut, too. But I ain't no selfish player that would be fun to see again."
Chase and Jefferson could theoretically join up on the Bengals after next season if the team were to franchise tag Tee Higgins and let him walk in 2025 free agency or work a trade with Minnesota.
It would be quite the way to stack strength on strength for one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and fellow LSU running mate, Joe Burrow.
