Bengals Wide Receiver Ja'Marr Chase on Pace to Shatter Records This Season

The 23-year-old broke the Bengals' single game receptions record on Sunday against the Cardinals.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase led the Bengals past the Cardinals on Sunday, breaking the Bengals single-game receptions record in the process.

Chase had 15 catches for 192 yards and three touchdowns in the 34-20 victory

He's on pace to break multiple Bengals and one NFL record this season.

Chase is averaging 8.8 receptions and 95.2 yards per game. That puts him on pace for 150 receptions, 1,618 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.

The 150 catches would set a new NFL record. He would also break his Bengals record for most receiving yards in a season. Saints star Michael Thomas has the NFL receptions record (149).

Chase and the Bengals' offense might've started slow this year, but he's a big reason why they've won two of their last three games. Even if his receptions dip a little, he has a good chance of breaking T.J. Houshmandzadeh's Bengals record for most catches in a season (112).
