CINCINNATI — Ja'Marr Chase is off to a record-setting start to his Bengals career. He has 168 receptions for 2,501 yards and 22 touchdowns in 29 career games.

Despite his success, he should reach another level this season and should absolutely be considered with the top pick in fantasy leagues.

Chase should be a PPR machine and the rest of the top picks are flawed. From Justin Jefferson being forced to rely on Kirk Cousins to Christian McCaffrey's injury history—all of the top guys have legitimate concerns.

What's Chase's flaw? The fact that he's in an offense with Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. That's it.

He has a top quarterback, is in a pass-first offense and should get peppered with targets all season long.

The Bengals offensive line should also be better, which should give Joe Burrow more chances to connect with Chase downfield.

The star wide-out could easily set a new franchise record for receptions and yards this season.

There isn't much debate about Chase being a top-five pick in PPR leagues, but fantasy owners should seriously consider taking him with the top selection.
