CINCINNATI — There's been plenty of discussion about a potential extension for Joe Burrow.

It sounds like the star quarterback is going to play in Sunday's season opener regardless of what happens from a contract standpoint.

"That's the last thing I'm thinking about," Burrow said. "It comes when it comes. I'm not worried about it or anything."

Burrow was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. It was his fourth session back. He made it clear that he wants to sign a long-term deal with the Bengals.

"This is where I want to be my whole career," he said. "We're working towards making that happen."

A deal could come over the next few days. There's optimism about an extension. Time will tell if it gets done before Sunday's opener.
