PFF Ranks Chidobe Awuzie, Mike Hilton Among Top-25 NFL Cornerbacks
CINCINNATI — PFF dropped its top-32 cornerback rankings recently and included a pair of Bengals on the list: Chidobe Awuzie (No. 18) and Mike Hilton (No. 22).
Awuzie is looking solid in workouts as he works a return from his torn ACL suffered against the Browns last year on Halloween.
"An injury limited Chidobe Awuzie to just the first eight games of the season, but in those outings he didn't allow a touchdown and was building on his strong 2021 campaign," Sam Monson wrote. "Since arriving in Cincinnati, Awuzie has looked like one of the better cornerbacks in the game. He let up a catch on just 41.9% of passes into his coverage last season."
Mike Hilton is coming off a solid season as an elite NFL slot cornerback.
"One of the best slot corners in the game, Hilton is a well-rounded defender from that position," Monson wrote. "He is an excellent run defender and tallied five pass breakups to go along with his lone interception in coverage last year."
