PFF Ranks Orlando Brown Jr. Among NFL's Top-15 Offensive Tackles
CINCINNATI — The Bengals beefed up the offensive line this offseason by adding Orlando Brown Jr.'s talents. PFF views the tackle as the 14th-best player among all NFL offensive tackles.
"Brown has developed into a high-floor NFL player, with his PFF grade sitting between 73.0 and 78.0 in each of the past four seasons," Gordon McGuinness wrote. "Five seasons into his NFL career, it’s fair to wonder if he’ll ever be a top-10 tackle. But at the very worst, he is a more-than-capable starting player on the left side."
Brown now gives Cincinnati a projected starting unit of him, Cordell Volson, Ted Karras, Alex Cappa, and Jonah Williams from left to right. Depending on how Williams transitions to right tackle, it should be the most talented unit Cincinnati's fielded since winning the first eight games of the 2015 season.
Funny enough, Cincinnati is on an eight-game regular season win streak heading into the 2023 season.
