The Athletic Names Bengals Assistant Coach Lou Anarumo Among Top Head Coach Candidates
CINCINNATI — The Athletic recently dropped the latest top head coaching candidates around the NFL and Lou Anarumo made the cut.
The Bengals defensive coordinator was a finalist for the Cardinals job this past cycle.
"The 57-year-old Anarumo directs a defense that was among the league’s stingiest in points allowed in 2021 and 2022, and he is one of the few defensive minds who knows how to beat the Kansas City Chiefs," Mike Jones wrote.
Cincinnati has been fortunate to retain both coordinators for Zac Taylor's entire tenure, but that could change this offseason.
