CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd is happy with his training camp performance this year as the team winds down the sessions and gets ready for normal game week practices soon.

Boyd hasn't caught passes from Joe Burrow in a practice since late July, but it's just more reason to stay focused on building as an individual player for the greater good.

"I feel I had a great camp," Boyd said on Wednesday. "I can still work on a few things. Some practices might not be better than others but at the same time gotta be consistent. I think I did a great job just being consistent, knowing what I'm supposed to do, knowing the little things and just being very detailed. Overall, it's kind of hard to say because we've been working with two different quarterbacks and we tried to get chemistry on the same page with those guys."

Cincinnati's offense has been stuck in the mud a bit without Burrow, but Boyd sees it a little differently.

"Just dial in and stay locked in because a lot of the practices it may look like we're not doing enough and a lot of times when we was out there and we felt like it was the defense dominating us," Boyd said. "Come in watch the tape, the tape really is not that bad. Just haven't been making the biggest explosive plays that we usually used to making. We hold ourselves at that certain level as an offense."

Boyd is entering a contract season as the longest-tenured Bengal in the receiver room.
