Zac Taylor Shares Latest on Tee Higgins Injury Return Following Win Over Arizona

Higgins just missed his third game in the past two seasons.

CINCINNATI — Bengals head coach Zac Taylor gave the latest on Tee Higgins' (rib) health as the team starts Seattle preparation.

Taylor indicated it's too early to say if the talented playmaker will suit up against the Seahawks, adding the team didn't want to put Higgins in a tough spot this past Sunday.

"Continue to see how the week goes," Taylor said about Higgins. "He was able to do some stuff as the weekend got closer. I didn't feel comfortable with how he wass gonna feel during the game. It wasn't right to put him in that spot."

Higgins is working through a broken rib as the Bengals offense tries to stack another good game against an NFC West opponent. Taylor noted how the team still has a few things to clean up despite clearing the 30-point mark for the first time this season in the 34-20 win.

"The small setbacks," Taylor said about the minute details. "Not finishing the drive on offense with three points or no points, we gotta get seven on the board. There was a 3rd & 1 late in the game. We had some miscommunication, we can't have that. That would extend the drive to put points on the board. Defensively, giving up two consecutive drives with points, we gotta eliminate that kind of stuff.

"A lot of positives, but those are the types of things that when we're trying to play to our standard of what we want to be as the season progresses Those are the types of things that we have to do a much better job of."

Higgins has now missed just three games in the past two seasons.
