Reds Name Bengals Defensive End Sam Hubbard Honorary Captain For 'City Connect' Game

The baseball club has new jerseys to show off this weekend.

CINCINNATI — Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard is helping the Cincinnati Reds introduce their new "City Connect" jerseys this Friday.

The Reds announced Hubbard is the honorary captain for their game against the New York Yankees.

Hubbard is joining other Cincinnati sports figures like former Reds outfielder George Foster and FC Cincinnati defender Nick Hagglund at the event. There is also a bald eagle flight before the first pitch at 6:40 p.m. ET.

Reds players are rocking the new jerseys for every Friday home game for the rest of the season.
