Report: Jonah Williams Requests Trade Following Bengals' Move to Sign Orlando Brown Jr.

The 25-year-old spent four seasons in Cincinnati.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are signing Orlando Brown Jr. to be their franchise left tackle, which didn't sit well with former first-round pick Jonah Williams. 

The 25-year-old has requested a trade according to Ian Rapoport. Williams is entering his fifth season and will make $12.6 million in 2023. 

The Bengals planned on moving him to right tackle after the Brown signing. Instead of switching positions, Williams is requesting a trade. 

Cincinnati would open up $12.6 million in cap space if they could move Williams.
