CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow will start on Sunday against the Cardinals

There was some speculation that the Bengals could allow their starting quarterback to rest as he continues to deal with a calf injury, but head coach Zac Taylor made it clear that they're sticking with Burrow.

"Oh, yeah, yeah I do," Taylor said on Monday when asked if Burrow was healthy enough to run a good offense. "We just have to do a better job of finding a rhythm early."

Burrow completed 20-of-30 passes for 165 yards in Sunday's loss to the Titans. He's only thrown for 728 yards this season and completing just 57.6% of his passes.

Despite his struggles, the Bengals believe they can be productive with Burrow at quarterback.

"We were 0-for-5 on third down in this game (in the first half). Our first and second efficiency was really good to start the game," Taylor said. "It's just when you are 0 and 5 on third down in the first half you're not taking any pressure off the defense. It was 3-3 halfway through the second quarter, and we have to do something offensively by converting those third downs and turning them into points to where take pressure off the defense so the other team can't run the ball as much as they do. That's really the easiest starting point for us."

The Bengals play the Cardinals on Sunday in Arizona at 4:25 p.m. ET.
