Cleveland Browns 2023 Schedule Released
It’s that day of the NFL Calendar when the league officially releases the schedule for the upcoming season. Cleveland Browns will kick off their season at home against the Cincinnati Bengals, and their bye week will come in
Cleveland has a lighter schedule this season, after their fourth-place finish in the AFC North last year with a record of 7-10. It sits at the No. 26 spot in strength of schedule based off of last season’s records.
The Browns are set to have QB Deshaun Watson for a full season, so there are going to be legit expectations on this team. After missing 11 games last year while being suspended, the Browns went 3-3 in games that Watson started.
This off-season, the Browns have added important pieces on both sides of the ball as well as a new defensive coordinator in Jim Schwartz. He’s going to have DT Dalvin Tomlinson, S Juan Thornhill, DE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, S Rodney McLeod, DT Maurice Hurst, DT Siaki Ika, CB Cameron Mitchell, and DT Trysten Hill joining a defense that already had a talented cornerback room and Myles Garrett.
Cleveland’s offense went out and kept C Ethan Pocic, while trading for WR Elijah Moore from the Jets. Cleveland doubled up at the position by taking WR Cedric Tillman with their first draft pick in the third round, they also signed WR Marquise Goodwin. Other off-season acquisitions include; TE Jordan Akins, C Luke Wypler, OT Dawand Jones, QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and QB Joshua Dobbs.
It’s time for less talk and more on-the-field results in Cleveland, below you’ll find the schedule they’ll need to get through to do just that.
