Browns Trade Final Pick in 2023 NFL Draft to Division Rival

Cleveland Browns will not be making their final pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

That’ll do it for the Cleveland Browns 2023 NFL Draft class. Cleveland has traded out of their final selection in the seventh round at pick No. 229, sending that pick to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens are sending the Browns back a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In division trades do not happen, especially player trades. But with later-round picks holding small value, the two sides make it happen in this situation.

Cleveland now moves up a round next year where they will have an extra sixth-round pick. Cleveland selected Ohio State’s Luke Wypler in the sixth round of this year’s draft.

Next year the Browns will hold a second, third, two in the fifth, two in the sixth, and two seventh-round draft picks on the schedule at this time.
