Browns Exploring Multiple Options at Wide Receiver, per Report

Cleveland Browns are reportedly exploring multiple options at wide receiver as we are soon to be in free agency period.
In this story:

Ahead of the NFL offseason, the Cleveland Browns have a few needs in mind they need to attack. One is continuing to add talent at the wide receiver position. According to a report, the Browns have Elijah Moore, Mecole Hardman, and Brandin Cooks on their radar.

The Cooks connection stems from his time with Deshaun Watson in Houston. In 2020, Cooks had 1,150 receiving yards as the top option for Watson, he added six touchdowns too. Cooks currently has a cap number of $26.4 and $24.6 million over the next two years. That would be a steep number that the Browns would surely want no part of. The reunion would need to come as Cooks was cut, or a reworked deal.

Hardman would offer Cleveland a nice gadget option with some explosiveness. Hardman had his best season in 2021 with 693 receiving yards, he had just 297 this past season in just five starts and eight games played.

Moore comes off as the most exciting of the three due to his age of just 22 years young. Early on with the New York Jets, Moore has shown talent but has been unable to gain consistent snaps. In his first two seasons as a pro, he's recorded 538 and 446 receiving yards respectively. Perhaps better quarterback play and a defined role would benefit Moore immensely.

Buckle up as the Browns look like they will be aggressive in free agency and the trade market over the next couple of weeks. That may include adding an offensive playmaker.
