CJ Stroud Says he Looks up to Browns Deshaun Watson

NFL Draft prospect CJ Stroud believes that Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is someone he has a similar playing style to and looks up to.

CJ Stroud is expected to be a top-10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and one of the first quarterbacks selected. The Ohio State product revealed on Friday that Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is someone he looks up to, and plays similarly to.

"I look up to Deshaun Watson a lot as somebody I feel as I have a similar playing style too," Stroud told reporters on Friday. "

And then Joe Burrow, being able to create. Not being the fastest guy but being able to extend plays, throw guys off of you, and just be tough."

Stroud threw for 40+ touchdowns in both of his seasons as a starting QB for the Buckeyes. He didn't add a lot on the ground, but arm talent and angles of throwing could be compared to Watson.

The two athletes have trained together in the past, notably last July.
