Report: Cincinnati Forward Aziz Bandaogo Missing Baylor Game Due to Injury
CINCINNATI — UC forward Aziz Bandaogo is not suiting up for Saturday's game against Baylor after aggravating his lower back injury in the 74-73 loss to Texas on Tuesday.
The Enquirer's Scott Springer reported the news first as Cincinnati faces one of the best teams in the country without a key starter.
Bandaogo got pushed in the lower back on a lob early in the Texas loss and proceeded to have zero points and five rebounds during his worst game at UC. It clearly affected his impact.
Cincinnati is trying to avoid a 1-2 start in the conference without its top two players by offensive rating in Bandaogo and CJ Fredrick. Jamille Reynolds will fill in with more minutes for Bandaogo.
