CINCINNATI — Former Cincinnati Bearcats guard Landers Nolley II ended his run at NBA Summer League with a bang for the New Orleans Pelicans. Nolley dropped 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists on 8-of-11 shooting from the field Sunday.

"Chez" lit up the Philadelphia 76ers from deep with his signature sharpshooting (6-of-9 from three).

He finished Summer League averaging 8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists across five games played.

Nolley is on an Exhibit 10 one-year contract with New Orleans after going undrafted in 2023. He announced on April 7 that he would not return to college for his final season of eligibility.

Nolley earned All-AAC first-team honors this past season after posting 16.8 points per game, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He started all 36 games as a scoring stalwart and posted one of the greatest three-point shooting seasons in program history (41.7% on 6.8 tries per game).

Cincinnati hasn't had an NBA draft pick since Jacob Evans in 2018. Tari Eason got drafted last year but finished his college career with LSU.

Now, Nolley begins a pro career in a league that highly covets his best asset: deep shotmaking. It's an uphill climb to make a Pelicans roster loaded with wings, but more performances like the one on Sunday can't hurt.
