CINCINNATI — It took a little bit of time, but Desmond Ridder has signed his rookie deal with the Atlanta Falcons. According to Aaron Wilson, the third-round pick is playing on a four-year, $5.362 million contract that has a $1.08 million signing bonus.

Ridder is the last Falcon rookie to sign his deal and now has a clear path to competing with Marcus Mariota for the starting QB job. He is reportedly far away from being the main man in the huddle but a lot can change across an NFL training camp.
