Report: Myjai Sanders Declaring for NFL Draft

The edge rusher is one of UC's highest-ranked pro prospect.

CINCINNATI — Standout defensive end Myjai sanders is declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft. According to PFF, The edge rusher announced the news on Thursday and is a part of the seven-player group from UC playing in the 2022 Senior Bowl.

Sanders put up 119 tackles, 13.5 sacks, and one forced fumble across four seasons in Clifton. Those numbers aren't eye-popping but analysts love his physical traits, and he created consistent pressure throughout his career.

According to PFF, Sanders is tied for second in this draft class with a 23% pass-rush win rate on true pass plays (screens, play-action and RPOs removed). Sanders is PFF's 48th-ranked prospect and is ESPN analyst Mel Kiper's eighth-ranked defensive end.
