Seven Bearcats Scheduled to Workout at Cincinnati Bengals Local Showcase
CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals are putting on their annual local player workout tomorrow. Seven Bearcats are on the list: DT Darrian Beavers, DT Curtis Brooks, DT Marcus Brown, LB Joel Dublanko, C Vinny McConnell, WR Alec Pierce, and WR Michael Young.
Pierce is the lone Bearcat to take a top-30 visit with the Bengals. He would fill a potential need at wide receiver should the team decide to move on from Tyler Boyd or Tee Higgins in the coming years. Brooks is a potential free agent or late-round dart throw with the team in need of defensive tackle depth.
Curiously missing from this group are CB Coby Bryant and S Bryan Cook. The Bengals also need cornerback help, and Bryant should be available to them in the third round (No. 93). Cook is another player who could fill a potential hole with cloudy futures surrounding Jessie Bates and Vonn Bell after 2022.
