Recruiting Roundup: UC Football Offers Multiple Four-Star Talents

Cincinnati is headed to Camp Higher Ground on Friday.

CINCINNATI — UC football is staying busy during the early parts of the 2025 recruiting period. The Recruiting Roundup starts with an offer to three-star 2025 offensive tackle Tucker Kattus out of St. Xavier.

According to 247Sports, Kattus is the 446th-ranked player nationally and the 33rd-best tackle.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound talent holds eight other offers from schools like Kentucky and Arkansas.

Next up is an offer to four-star 2025 wide receiver De'zie Jones out of Depaul Catholic (New Jersey).

According to 247Sports, Jones is the 282nd-ranked player nationally and the 44th-best wide receiver.

The 6-foot, 180-pound talent holds 12 other offers from schools like Illinois and Duke.

Following Jones is an offer to four-star 2025 Riverside (Florida) wide receiver Tae'shaun Gelsey.

According to Rivals, Gelsey is the 39th-best player in Florida and the 38th-best receiver nationally.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound talent holds 10 other offers from schools like Auburn and Kentucky.

The offers close with four-star 2025 offensive tackle Alex Payne out of Gainesville (Georgia).

According to 247Sports, Payne is the 181st-ranked player nationally and the 19th-best offensive tackle.

The 265-pound mauler holds 11 other offers from schools like Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech.
