CINCINNATI — Wes Miller and the Bearcats are welcoming one of the best and youngest players in the 2024 class for an official visit on Oct. 13.

Five-star center Jayden Quaintance out of Word of God Christian Academy (North Carolina) has already visited UC unofficially and wants to hit Clifton again. 247Sports reporter Eric Bossi broke the news.

According to 247Sports, Quaintance is the 12th-best player in the 2024 class and the third-ranked center.

He holds 17 offers and plans to visit Missouri and Kentucky officially this fall as well. Quaintance will be 17 years old when the 2024-25 season tips off.

Quaintance is a prototypical defender in the modern game at 6-foot-9, 230 pounds. He has fantastic length and recovery skills to close down open shots all over the floor and turn them into blocks. He can switch well in the pick-and-roll and has very sound feet in traffic.

Offensively, the big fella is a rim punisher with great clear-out ability on the inside and a nose for offensive rebounds. What makes him a five-star is his offensive versatility. From putting it on the floor in transition and making the right pass, to pick and pops for outside shots with nice form, the dude can do so much within that 6-foot-9 frame.

He would be the best prospect to play for Cincinnati in the 247Sports Era.
