CINCINNATI — UC sent out another offer in the 2024 class Sunday night, with four-star point guard Kyle Greene out of Pace Academy getting the call.

According to On3 consensus, Green is the 73rd-ranked player in the class and the 13th-ranked point guard. He is the former high school teammate of UC freshman Josh Reed. Green holds seven offers and is most closely linked to Clemson (75.9%), and South Carolina (6%).

Greene has strong potential to be a lead guard in the Big 12. The incoming junior has a jitterbug start-stop dribble motion and shows heady ways to attack with that dribble. He boasts a strong package of moves to create space near the basket and already has a refined step-back three-pointer. It's not shocking to see that step back given who he models his game after.

“I’m a facilitating point guard who can score,” Greene told On3. “I lock in on defense, I am lanky, so I like to use my length. Offensively, I like getting downhill and scoring where I can. Over the last eight months, I have become more of a point guard with assists going up. I have started to fill up the stat sheet more with steals and rebounds. I’m not just scoring, and I am contributing a lot to my team winning.

“I watch James Harden often. I like how he mixes combo moves, creates space for himself, creates space for his teammates. His role in Brooklyn resembles what I do here at Pace.”

On defense, Greene uses his 6-foot-2 length to cause havoc for ballhandlers. He is a good bet for 2-3 steals a game at Pace Academy, a mentality that's crucial in a league with as many talented guards as the Big 12 boasts. Catch some of his highlights here.
