Former Mississippi State Signee Justin Brown Commits To Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech is adding another versatile player to its roster.
Former Mississippi State signee Justin Brown decided to enter the transfer portal following the death of former Bulldogs head coach Mike Leach. He announced tonight on social media that he is going to be playing at Georgia Tech for head coach Brent Key.
Smith (Murfreesboro, TN) was a three-star prospect on 247Sports and he is a player that can play both ways. He was listed as a receiver as a recruit but might play defensive back for the Yellow Jackets.
Brown had offers coming out of high school from Louisville, West Virginia, Purdue, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech, among others.
The 2024 class for Georgia Tech currently ranks 35th (before this commitment) on 247Sports, which is 8th in the ACC.

- Santana Alo-Tupuola (IOL)
- Jordan Boyd (DE/LB)
- Demontrae Gaston (LB)
- Tah'j Butler (LB)
- Aaron Philo (QB)
- William Depaepe (DE)
