Concession Food Item of the Week: The 'Big Game' Burger
Now that NFL playoffs are underway, you're probably feeling a little nervous about your team's fate. If you've decided to cope with your anxiety by stress-eating, the Packers have a very special playoff concession food item to help you out.
WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?: The 'Big Game' Burger
WHO HATH WROUGHT THIS MONTROSITY?: Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers
WHAT COMPRISES SUCH A THING?: Get your pencils out, 'cause you're going to need to take notes on this burger's ingredients. Ground venison, ground bacon, and ground Certified Angus Beef sit inside a Big Mother pretzel bun, smothered in homemade jalapeño cheese (jalapeños, Sargento cheese, cheddar cheese, and BBQ sauce).
OH, I GET IT, IT'S...: Hold on, I wasn't finished with the ingredients yet. That's all topped with crispy fried onions, crispy jalapeño smoked bacon, shredded iceburg lettuce, tomato, pickles, and secret sauce. Now, what were you saying?
I GET IT, IT'S A 'BIG GAME' FOR FOOTBALL, BUT VENISON IS ALSO BIG GAME: Exactly.
HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH?: 3 1/2 pounds.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?: $20.
HOW MANY CALORIES WE TALKIN'?: Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Packers' press release didn't include a calorie count. But we added up all the ingredients and arrived at 2,395 calories.
