Reds Showing Interest in Free Agent Center Fielder Michael A. Taylor
CINCINNATI — The Reds are one of multiple teams expressing interest in free agent center fielder Michael A. Taylor according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
The Reds have a need for a right-handed outfielder and Taylor would certainly be one of the top free agent options.
The 32-year-old won an American League Gold Glove Award in 2021 and hit a career-high 21 home runs last season.
Taylor would join an outfield that includes TJ Friedl, Will Benson and Jake Fraley.
The Red Sox and Blue Jays are also interested in Taylor according to the report. For more on why the Reds should add a right-handed bat in the outfield, go here.
