Former Reds Top Pick Nick Senzel Agrees to One-Year Deal With Nationals
CINCINNATI — Former Reds top prospect Nick Senzel signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Nationals according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. He also has a chance to earn another $1 million in performance bonuses.
The Reds took Senzel with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft.
He appeared in 377 games over five seasons for Cincinnati from 2019-23, posting a .239 batting average with 33 home runs and 125 RBI.
