Redsfest is a Can't-Miss Event For All Cincinnati Reds Fans
Redsfest is a yearly highlight and a must-do for all Reds fans. This year’s event will be more of the same.
Literally every player on the roster will be in attendance according to the Reds team website. You will have your chance to meet any one of the young core players like Elly De La Cruz, Matt McLain, Spencer Steer, Christian Encarnacion-Strand, and even Noelvi Marte. Jonathan India, Tyler Stephenson, and TJ Friedl will all be there as well as the pitching staff.
Get your baseballs and cards ready for autographs as you’ll have ample opportunity. Or you can get a picture with your favorite player.
Redsfest isn’t just about celebrating the current team, it’s also about memories of teams past. There is a large list of former Reds that will be there, in cladding Mario Soto, George Foster, Eric Davis, Sean Casey, Danny Graves, Wayne Granger, and more! Austin Kearns will be there Friday and Tommy Helms will be there Saturday.
There’s also tons to do for the kids, including batting cages, speed pitch, Inflatable Alley, and more. The third floor of the Duke Energy Center is set aside specifically for the Reds Heads Fun Zone and boasts plenty of fun activities.
Doors open at 3 p.m. ET on Friday and 11 a.m. ET on Saturday. Friday’s festivities end at 10:30 p.m. ET and Saturday concludes at 6:30 p.m. ET. You can purchase a single day pass for $25 or a weekend pass for $35.
Pro Tip: Try to go on both days. In years’ past, some of the booths that sell merchandise will offer discounted prices on Saturday as they want to pack up as little as possible during the cleanup. I once purchased an Odessa Two-Ball Putter with the Reds logo on the face for less than 50% of the ticketed price on a Saturday. You’re welcome.
