The 33rd Team's Mike Martz Ranks Bengals Offense Outside Top-Five Units in 2023

Cincinnati had one of the five most-efficient offenses last season.

CINCINNATI — Former NFL head coach Mike Martz is not super bullish on the Bengals' 2023 offense. The 33rd Team analyst left Cincinnati outside of his top-five NFL offenses.

The 49ers, Chiefs, Lions, Eagles, and Bills made up his ranking in that order.

Martz ironically just flipped one spot from last season's most efficient offenses. Cincinnati ranked fifth in EPA/play, just ahead of Detroit in sixth place. 

The Chiefs, Bills, Eagles, and Niners finished at the top of the league in that order. There was a bit of an efficiency drop-off from those six and Miami at No. 7.
