Jonathan Taylor to Undergo Thumb Surgery, Will Miss Colts' Week 14 Matchup With Bengals

Cincinnati has lost three-straight, but they still have a chance at the postseason.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals have dealt with their fair share of injuries this season. None bigger than Joe Burrow's wrist injury that will keep him out for the rest of the year.

Cincinnati is hoping to make a playoff run without their star quarterback. They play the Jaguars on Monday Night Football in Week 13, before returning home to play the Colts on Dec. 10.

Indianapolis will be without star running back Jonathan Taylor. He's scheduled to undergo thumb surgery on Wednesday and will miss 2-3 games according to The Athletic. Others believe Taylor could be placed on injured reserve.

That means the Bengals won't have to try to stop one of the top running backs in the NFL and the Colts best weapon.

Cincinnati is 5-6 on the year. They've lost three-straight games. Beating the Jaguars and Colts over the next two weeks is necessary if they're going to make the playoffs for a third-straight year.
