Zac Taylor Shares Latest Injury Update on Tee Higgins and Chidobe Awuzie

Cincinnati hosts Seattle on Sunday at Paycor Stadium.

CINCINNATI — Tee Higgins (ribs) and Chidobe Awuzie (back) missed Sunday's game in Arizona. Both veterans will remain sidelined on Wednesday. They won't practice, but that doesn't mean they won't be able to suit up this week against the Seahawks. 

"We'll just limit him (Awuzie) with the trainers," Taylor said. "Just day-to-day right now."

Taylor also called Higgins "day-to-day." The Bengals are on a bye in Week 7, which could be a factor in how they approach both veterans ahead of Sunday's game. 

They also know how important it is to get to 3-3 this week and going into the bye with a victory. 

DJ Turner II's emergence in the secondary, along with Trenton Irwin's performance against the Cardinals does give them confidence that they can be successful if Higgins and Awuzie don't play this week.
