Injuries are unfortunate at any time, especially in early training camp. Now, the hope is it’s nothing serious for one Cleveland Browns cornerback. Mike Ford appeared to suffer a leg injury on Tuesday.

Ford went down on a kickoff drill, the special team player was favoring his leg. The Browns’ newcomer hobbled off the field and was given attention by trainers. Ford tried to tough it out and keep going but was unable to and entered the building in Berea.

The Browns signed Ford this past offseason after he spent the 2022 season with the Atlanta Falcons and the previous season with the Denver Broncos. Ford played the first three seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions after being an undrafted free agent in 2018.

Ford could potentially be a piece to Bubba Ventrone’s unit if he is able to crack the roster. Browns Digest will update the severity of the injury when it is available.
