Cleveland Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II gets a first-hand look at the team’s new offensive weapon in wide receiver Elijah Moore and he’s excited for the rest of the NFL to find out what he’s capable of.

“I'm super excited. I'm just going to tell, the NFL better watch out for him,” said Newsome.

Cleveland sent their second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft in exchange for Moore and a third-round pick from the New York Jets. Cleveland doubled up at wide receiver by selecting rookie Cedric Tillman with that selection.

Moore was the odd man out in the Jets’ wide receiver rotation much of the time in his first two years. As a rookie, the Ole Miss product was solid with 538 receiving yards and five touchdowns. In his second season, those numbers dropped to 446 receiving yards and one touchdown in five more games played.

A fresh start with the Browns may be just what Moore needs to allow his career to take off.

“He's one of the best I've been against,” explained Newsome. “He's a great route-runner. He has speed. I'm definitely super excited for him."
