Browns News: Juan Thornhill Shows What Cleveland Means to him, Rookies set to Represent Team

A few recent Browns tidbits have come about.
In this story:

Yesterday the big news in Northeast Ohio was the team adding S Rodney McLeod to the team as a free agent. With that news, some other smaller pieces slipped under the rug.

Juan Thornhill got himself a new tattoo that Browns fans will surely approve of. The team’s elf logo is now permanently placed on Thornhill’s left forearm. Last season the Browns has the elf logo on their midfield and it is virtually liked by fans.

Cleveland Browns will have two of their draft picks represent them at the NFL Players Rookie Premiere. WR Cedrick Tillman and QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson are two of the 45 players who were invited to the event.

The premiere will run from May 18-21 in Los Angeles. Many of the big names from across last week’s NFL Draft will be those in attendance.

A local product, CB Anthony Kendall, was set to try out for the Browns during the minicamp. In good news for him, that will no longer happen because he has inked a deal with the Tennessee Titans. What could have been a potentially cool story with the D3 All-American, who attended Baldwin Wallace, potentially having a shot at playing for the Browns? That’s not to say the Browns won’t hop on the idea of bringing him in if things do not work out in Tennessee, but for the sake of his career, you hope they do.

Browns are hosting the reigning XFL Defensive Player of the Year, per a report. Pita Taumoepenu is a former Utah standout that was drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. Taumoepenu forced four fumbles, recorded 7.5 sacks, and 26 tackles with the Vegas Vipers in 2023.

Taumoepenu will have a chance to workout with the Browns and potentially earn a deal that will give him a chance to battle for a spot at training camp. Bringing in one of the XFL’s premier pass rushers isn’t the worst of ideas.
