Browns in Agreement on a Multi-Year Deal With C Ethan Pocic
Cleveland Browns are in line to keep perhaps their most important free agent. Center Ethan Pocic is expected to re-sign with the Browns on a three-year deal, Browns Digest can confirm. Pocic spent last season with the Browns on a one-year deal.
Pocic was signed to be depth for the Browns and ended up starting 13 games when Nick Harris went down with a season-ending injury. Pocic was a pleasant surprise for the Browns and looked like a top-5 center all year.
Prior to joining the Browns, Pocic had spent five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. During that time he made 53 starts in a total of 70 games played.
Now, the Browns have opted to re-sign Pocic, AJ Green, and Sione Takitaki it looks like.
The question mark at the center position is no longer a thing for Cleveland, who keeps their own guy around after a breakout year.
