Browns Second Year Wideout to Miss Significant Time, Stefanski Says Team Will Add to Position
In some very unfortunate news, one of the Cleveland Browns’ young wide receivers is going to be out for a ‘significant’ amount of time, according to Kevin Stefanski.
Daylen Baldwin exited the preseason game against the New York Jets last night visibly frustrated following the injury. It’s now been revealed that it is a hamstring injury that is significant, Stefanski said on his Friday Zoom meeting.
Baldwin appeared in one game for the Browns last season and was in the mix to be the final wideout on the team’s roster. If he didn’t make the roster, the Michigan product had a nice chance to make the practice squad.
With Marquise Goodwin out as well, this is another wide receiver the Browns will not have for training camp. Stefanski revealed that the Browns will bring in additional help.
For a young player like Baldwin who is trying to find his spot in the NFL, this is not the news you want to see.
