The Cleveland Browns are making a roster move on Monday by adding some cornerback depth to the 90-man roster. Cleveland is signing CB Lorenzo Burns, according to Aaron Wilson.

Burns is a two-time USFL champion with the Birmingham Stallions. The 5-foot-11 Burns played his college ball at Arizona where he recorded nine interceptions over his five-year collegiate career. After being an undrafted rookie, Burns briefly spent time with Arizona Cardinals.

This past season Burns had 26 tackles in the USFL. Burns is still just 25 years old and finished up his college career in 2020.

Burns will have a chance to impress with the Browns in training camp, potentially earning a spot on the practice squad. At the very worst it gives him a chance to audition for the other 31 NFL teams.
